Dear Members,
Just like Emily last year, I didn’t intend to be your President again, but here I am serving as your President and starting my fourth term! Obviously, I love the Winter Park Garden Club and believe in its purpose and its longevity. As we see a world getting warmer than has ever been known, we face challenges never before imagined.
I thank Emily for the energy and enthusiasm that she brought to both our old and new members. I will strive to continue to do things a less traditional and more engaging way. This will start with a much simpler and useful Yearbook. We plan to take a field trip this year, possibly a bus trip to the Museum of Natural History in Gainesville, FL with its butterfly garden.
Please continue to join us for hands on programs and sharing of skills and knowledge by members of our club. I look forward to seeing you all at our meetings from September 2023 through May 2024!
